Welcome to Reflections On Nature Photography. I'm Chuck Beatty and I'm pleased you've chosen to stop by. The images on this site are dedicated to my wife, Maia, and the family and friends who got together a few years ago and presented me with a digital SLR camera. Thank you all for opening up this world to me and giving me the chance to share my perspective on it. On this site you will find nature as seen through the eyes of a life-long artist and naturalist. With the help of friends and mentors I am improving my ability to capture what I see and share it with others. I hope you will enjoy visiting some of my favorite places as much as I enjoy bringing them to you. Many of the images in the galleries come from Cuyahoga Valley National Park, located a couple of miles from my home. Returning to northeast Ohio after 37 years away, I've had the joy of discovering the quiet back trails of this wonderful urban park. The fall colors here rival anything New England has to offer—and without the crowds. Other images in the galleries come from the ancestral home of the Diné, in the canyonlands of the Four Corners area. It's a place where the history of the Earth is exposed in layers of brightly colored stone carved by wind and water. If you have questions about any of the images or would like to purchase a print, please feel free to contact me. Chuck Beatty
